In Honour of the Pioneer Women Lois and Dorothy Robillard-Bezanson
Dorothy Bezanson passed away shortly after giving birth to her son, Frank, Christmas Day 1908 at Bezanson. The nearest cow was located 35 miles away. Her sister, Lois, and baby Frank were put into the jumper filled with straw blankets, and hot rocks at her feet for the long winter journey. This ride was made at 30° below zero Fahrenheit. Upon arrival at Flying Shot Lake, Mrs. Clifford helped Lois look after Frank
